Sorry but we are not going to be able to make this after all It would have been nice to meet everyone

Just found out that I won't be leaving Dublin until Saturday morning which is a bit of a blow

Hope to be there it's 60/40 at the mo we won't know until friday finger's crossed we really enjoyed the last meet if we can make it we will be there 4-5 ish on friday.I think we'll be staying for the two nights and thanks again kev for the ecard for Alison she really loved it.

If anyone that arrives before Kev and me can you please ask the site manager where they are putting us, we also need to be away from the main road ( when you enter the site keep to areas around the far right )

I just checked the weather and it says fine from 6pm Friday through Saturday. So we'll see you there around 7.30 ish tomorrow.

You'll notice us as I am just bringing my 2 noisy boys......

Am here already, lovely site and facilities, road is a bit noisy plus plane noise. Bring earplugs and Wellies. Not raining now. Look forward to meeting people tomorrow, have a safe journey!

Hi I saw the site warden last night ,he hasn't allocated a particular area for us. There's plenty of space the site isn't full. The suns out this morning and so are the ponies, I'm near the entrance as had to pitch up fast in the rain yesterday but have woken up to a glorious day and grandstand view. By the way ignore sat navs and google map they take you to the wrong site just keep going on the lyndhurst road until you get to a Brokenhurst village sign and it's on the left if your heading south. Both my kenwood garmin and my google map got it wrong from the post code!

Thanks for your updates Isa, for reasons I will explain later I think we need to be as far away from the site manager as humanly possible!

I've updated Martin's first post at the top of this topic to remind others not to use the site's postcode, and to either use his excellent directions - or the long/lat coordinates, which look ok in TomTom.

My work colleague said it was really noisy near the road, and got much better as you moved away from it - hopefully it'll be quieter where we all pitch together.

As a new owners of VW california, we would like to attend this weekend's meet at site in the New Forest but we can only get there as day visitors for Sunday (24th) morning - will the get together have broken up by then ?
Lots of questions to ask and tap/exchange knowledge and experience of fellow california campervanners.
