HI,

I live just south of York and have a 2004 LHD 174 ( chipped to 216 bhp) Fresian Green Comfortline with 80,000 miles on it.

I am retired and have used it to visit most of the VW shows in the UK and love it to bits !!!

It goes like hell but at 60-65 mph crusing I can still get 40mpg!!!! No problems to date...no electrical gremlins,leaks or breakages ,gets admiring glances and questions everywhere I go.I also have a 1960 Porsche 356B T5 which gets used most days.

I was brought up on VW beetles and have owned many + Kharmann Ghia...I have a great affection for aircooled engines !!!

great...........80k miles........tell's it's own story.........you put me to utter shame..........the Cali is simply THE best camper (IMO)...........see you around at a show or a meet sometime
