There are many wiper blade threads on here but so many seem (to me anyway) a little confusing so having having just fitted new ones today I thought this might help anyone in the same boat.

I ordered the blades online at Euro Car Parts using my van reg…… Bosch came up and I bought the Aerotwin blades for front and back. Fitting was really quick and easy (press release tab, slide out…… that’s it!) and now I have smear free squeak free wipers for half the price that VW wanted on the recent service:thumb

I'm fitting exactly those tomorrow

I fitted a pair of them a few weeks ago.!00% better than the original vw blades that came with my van

I’ve fitted this brand and model to all of our cars whatever marque - VW, Volvo, BMW, Audi, Merc, as do our son and daughter now too. They’re better than the ‘original parts‘. There’s nothing worse than a partly cleared windscreen. However we’ve noticed that even with the AeroTwin blades, the passenger side (left side) doesn’t clear as well as the driver side.

Thank you for this. Drivers side had been annoying me for months but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Amazon kindly delivered yesterday, easy fit and the Cali was a different drive today with these wipers with the downpour!

Been using these for over 12 months still like new

I am on my second pair of these, have exactly the same thing with the passenger side (I have LHD) not clearing as well, not enough to bother me but not great either.....

How often do people usually change them? I have mine (be original) for almost 2 years and I was wondering if they started to perform less well

You can generally tell by deterioration in the wipe eg poor or lots of smearing. Just replaced mine for this reason at 2 years old. Interestingly I noticed my original VW set had a small stamp with a ‘use by date’ which was exactly 2 years from manufacture.

Thanks for the info ,. I'm going to buy these online now as half the price my Van dealer wanted to charge !
Do you have a product no for the back ripper or can I use one of these ?

Thanks

Anyone with a GC or vehicle based on a Crafter / MAN TGE will know that the factory fitted wiper blades are terrible. The Bosch Aerotwin ones fix all of the juddering and streaking of the original factory ones.

I change them when they become noisy and stay noisy even after cleaning them. They should be dead silent.

The original ones lasted only a year on mine (but then we’re in Ireland, use it as our day-to-day car and camp all year round. I imagine they’ll last for a lot longer if only used as a camper and only during the sunny months of the year)

Our new reg van has juddering wiper blades. It was probably like it from new, but I really can’t face arguing with VW. It looks these the Bosch blades are the consensus choice on here. Unless you know different…

I started having the same issuues with Bosch after 6-12 months. I switched to SWF blades as they have more downforce on the windscreen and this eliminates chatter. Been super silent for 12 months so far!

Interesting. I have used Bosch wipers for years on my 2011 California SE, but when I look at the A351S, it doesn't look the model I have on the van. The contributors above are all using T6, all younger vans than mine.
Does anybody know the model for a 2011 SE please?
I've previously recorded the correct model but have mislaid the note it was on.

I think the correct model is AR24U.

I found SWF:

Does anyone know of a UK supplier?

Autodoc?

We’ve got Bosch Aerotwin 2 blades on and they work ok. I find they need to be replaced every 12 months so they remain judder free.
