Welcome Pete ,
Guess you typed wrong or is you Cali tuned ?
Think the Cali is perfect for travelling allone , pitch up at nice places spending one night and then using campsites every two to three days is how we like to travel.
If you are planning your first trip and letting know on here where to it is there will sure be some tips popping in.
There are the usual sites to use like
http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/ukcampsites/

https://www.coolcamping.co.uk/

http://www.campingintheforest.co.uk/

http://www.campercontact.com/en/

Yes typo. Thanks ! 180 !!! Thanks for the links.

Nice one. Cool Camping is a good guide to buy. Although you may struggle in
high season with some of the sites.
Enjoy.

Welcome Pete.

At risk of bloke stereotyping... have you come across Britstops (www.britstops.com) for overnight stays? Most of them are pubs!! ;)

I mean no I haven't come across it and thanks!

:Grin

Incidentally if you do stay in pub car parks (Britstops or not) and enjoy a couple of beers, you don't want to be nicked for 'drunk in charge' of your Cali when you head off to bed.

Fortunately, forum members have researched and debated that topic exhaustively. :D At risk of misrepresenting anyone or re-starting the debate (God forbid!), the consensus is that reasonable efforts to demonstrate you're staying the night (like swivelling the front seats and making up the bed before you head over to the boozer) should be enough evidence you're a bona fide overnighter.

And obviously you won't be imbibing more than would make you safe to drive on the next morning![/QUOTE]
