I could have sworn I saw these somewhere but cannot find them?

Looking for a nice neat clip I can put on the Steering Wheel to remind me (well actually my dopey wife) that the EHU is plugged in.

I was thinking of a fabric one with 'EHU!!" and a bag type clip I can just clip obviously on the SW.

Could have sworn I've seen them!

These sort of things but maybe a nice clip system.

I use a small piece of yellow Velcro that I wrap around the top of the steering wheel to remind me the cable is plugged in. Cheap and very effective

There things my wife can not see boggle my mind: curbs, other cars, red lights etc.

A bit of yellow velcro would not cut it!

Eh? our van has an audible alarm if the ignition is turned on with EHU cable plugged in…..

I actually do not have a EHU cable yet but from what I gather the Beaches do not make the warning noise.

Also my wife would ignore it and drive off.

I pop a little flag on a stick in the steering wheel to remind me to check around

I just walk around my van checking I am not forgetting anything around or underneath it and have a look inside to check everything is closed and secure. To tags, just walk look.

I only use my Stoplock Pro when parked on the drive at home or when on EHU.
Difficult to forget.

So not the answer to the original question but to avoid driving off the ramps for example I place a note over speedo so that I can not drive away without seeing the note (!). Same method could be used for anything really.

Leave the bonnet open on the holding catch.

On board display will show as bonnet open.

I do exactly this and have added a couple of other things to it. Turn the headlights from auto to off for example

Just get a short length of electric flex (wire from old electric item) and tie it around steering wheel when plugged in. Simple and free.

All good ideas but what if you forget the steering wheel reminder! You’ll need a reminder for the reminder :) :)

I just know my 5 point checklist by heart: electricity, gas, water, roof and levels…..and a quick look around van and area before I leave (tyres, bits hanging off, etc)
