Can anyone tell me why it is that a NCD can only be applied to a single vehicle whilst if you have an accident it will have a potential impact on the insurance policies of every vehicle you might own?
Example: John owns several vehicles and has built up a separate NCD on each of them however if he were to have a bump then it would have to be declared and may have a potential impact on each policy.
Surely its not the vehicle that poses the risk but the driver? Or is this just a case of the Insurance companies just having their cake and eating in?
