I had the marketing email to say book a test drive, etc. Clicked on and not a single dealership is shown in Wales.

Has Llandudno lost its California allocation?

Not even one in Cardiff or any of the bigger cities.

Nope, some Swansway's, Preston and Liverpool but not Wrexham.

It might be where they have current stock...Cali Chris posted a video from Preston earlier.

I believe they trimmed official dealers down to 10. Going to be some gaps in areas they denoted as low sales zones.

Yep, I remembered that but Wales is an entire country...

There's several Calis in the small town I live in, at least 5 I think...just off the top of my head.

I was in VW North Wales at Llandudno Junction last week for a service on my Cali, they confirmed they are not one of the chosen few who will continue to be California dealers.

I suspect that to a German Executive, Wales isn’t really a separate country, more a constituent part of the Uk, akin to a region.
Don’t shoot me down, I just suggesting why Wales might be overlooked.
And yes, it’s diabolical, I agree.

When I was in the Swansea commercial dealership last month for some warranty work I got chatting to one of sales team who asked if I was interested in coming to their new Cali launch event. He mentioned they had one on order and he was also due to attend a training event which I think was in Milton Keynes.

Sinclairs in Swansea have recently received two. A black Ocean in the showroom and a silver (coast i think), silver diesel auto to test drive. Managed to take it for a test drive along the M4 and through a couple of villages. Drove well and no rattles. Previously drove a non- converted T6.1 sold this year. Noticed the difference in weight and length but no issues. Great to have no handbrake and swivel both seats around. Seriously thinking about getting one. They took their first order last week but waiting on delivery date but they think c 6 months.
