noisy valve advise please before mon !

hi,
van just had small service, they said i had a noisy valve would cost £154 to replace

for last 9 months or more there is a fart like noise when turned engine off is this the noisy valve?

next question is should i get it done asap now i know is it causing a problem or will it ?

can anyone help with what the valve does? thank you all

Is this the "moo" valve?
Are you out of warranty?

I think its called the n75 valve quite common to go on a t5 about £40 for the valve not sure how hard it is to fit or if it will cause any problems if left

moo valve ? it does sound like a moo now i think of it

2008 cali, so no warranty , is it a common problem ? cheers

will book in to replace valve on mon,

not done 30k & already had starter motor too

Had ours done under warranty a few weeks ago after it started farting/mooing when we were in France. Apparently it's something to do with the turbo and if it fails completely then you lose the turbo according to the dealer. He knew immediately what it was when I described it so I assume it's fairly common.
