Any near the beaches?

Arromanches-les-Baines. Municipal site right in town. Large pitches with hedge borders, good facilities. Two minutes from beach. Good museum, good restaurants and plenty of opportunity to explore the Mulberry Harbours (or what’s left of them) in and around the town.

Easy access to all the other ‘landing beaches’.

Great little bistro restaurant at Omaha Beach and excellent new museum.

Forgot to mention; great little restaurant in Arromanches-‘La Ripaille’ (translates as ‘The Feast’...I think) on Rue Colonel René Michel. About five minutes walk from municipal campsite. Get there early, they stop serving about 8.30pm!

Excellent food, good beer and good value...VERY French!

Not sure where abouts you are looking for a site. We stayed last night at a site just west of Dieppe- really excellent site in great little fishing village- Quiberville.
