Short intro to the forum. I've had a 2008 California for 10 years. A few things going wrong with it now (130k miles done so to be expected) . Considering trading in a buying a new Cali Ocean but it will be a slow process to convince myself

Go to a dealer and when they bid you in the bo11ox for yours and say
that you have to give yours +40k you might have a rethink.
Or you may get a good deal.

Is it compulsory to post up when you first buy a Cali? I jest. I joined the forum yesterday because I was looking for a solution to horizontal lines missing on the control display. Google pointed me to this forum, it looked interesting, I joined, I posted an intro seconds after being accepted. Cheers for the welcome

Well its more that I will be slow to decide when is the right time to change. I imagine the scenario you paint is probably going to be true though

Welcome. It took me also 9 years to subscribe to this forum, so don't listen to that.

For the horizontal lines in your display, you could have it repaired, or you could try to find a working second hand one.

Oh, one of the things to do: post some pictures of the van!
