Just ordered (in the process with paperwork) ordering our first California, the Ocean 199 4Motion 2 tone (green & white). Hope we have a good deal, 6% discount, finance deal so 4 years service package, £1,000 off from finance company and we went to the NEC and have the bike rack for free. Just got to wait now and find some money for the payment!!

Norwich when we pick up the California and then in the summer Denmark and Sweden, ferry tickets booked from Harwich, will be towing an Eriba for the longer adventures!

Make sure that you sign up quickly for the warranty extension to 5 years. It's by far the best value option and can only be bought at the outset (perhaps up to 3 months, but check).

How did you get the free bike rack?

Our dealer told us about it, knew we were going to the NEC caravan show, if you visited the VW stand and registered interest in a California they emailed you a code to give to the dealer to get the bike rack discount.
