Our Cali has arrived!

We collected our California Ocean today at 12.00 from Eurovans Crawley. We’re absolutely delighted. David Marney has been fantastic throughout - very patient and with great explanations on handover to us. The handover took two hours!
It is exactly two months since we were lucky enough to place an order for our Cali (cancelled order). It’s a white 204 DSG with sports trim. It looks so smart. We had to go with the grey rubber floor, mattress topper and extra storage.
We put in some diesel and took her for a drive for a late lunch. We both had a drive and agree that she is absolutely great.
We have spent the rest of our afternoon sorting out all our new bits of kit for our first trip which is to North Norfolk tomorrow for five days.
The only problem so far is that our Cali arrived with only one key so we can’t set all of the electronic wizardry up yet. That will be done on our return next week.

Fabulous although I still have no recollection of seeing it Friday! Too busy staring at ours - what brilliant luck to get a cancelled order.

Enjoy - I set up WE but as you say, you need both keys, but TBH it's no loss and can wait. I just use it to check Mafalda is locked.

Ours filled, all ready, first day trips weekend and the Fowey next week. Good times. Let's see if the S2S mattress is as good as they say.

We’ve just put film protector (as recommended by others) on the glass worktops. We tried to fit clear film from Robert Dyas - useless, it bubbles up. We then bought film from B&Q. It was only available with a pattern. We’ve fitted it for now, but I actually think it looks okay (much to my surprise). I think it’s the stuff that people use for windows.

Thanks we’ve had Wells crab already. Brown shrimps will be todays purchase from Gurneys at Burnham Market.
+ T6 POE Where did you get the aluminium worktop protectors please? We’ve put plastic film on, but that looks like a better option.

They look very smart, how are they for showing up finger prints etc? If they’re hard wearing I’d be very tempted. Assuming they do them for a T5.1.
