Outwell San Diego awning

Have recently purchased one of these from motorhome show, can anyone tell me if it fits a Cali with the wind out awning on - We were told it would from outwell, but our suppliers seem to think we have to take off awning first which we really don't want to do

There is a "hidden" strip to attach the awning to the roll out - you need to put it out a little and flip up the edge which is L-shaped and you will find a channel in there.
