Overbed storage removal

Morning,

Need to use the van as a “van” ie to move a piece of furniture and having taken the back seats out just realised I need an extra 5 cm on the height at the back where the overbed locker is situated: the rest of the interior is high enough.
Anybody has done this before ?

I would not risk the removal and causing damage or a permanent ratlle aftherwarts.
Rent a trailer or a builders van.

Thanks for your input ( which would really be the sensible thing to do... ) but I am a bit fanatical about using the full flexibility of the vehicle ( car/van/home/...)
Plus I will hopefully learn a bit more about the Ocean
I promise that I will be careful...
