Thought I would share our experience of parking our Cali in Bruges. After some research most car parks have low height restrictions due to many being either underground or multi-story. We were using the cali with 5th seat so not camping in it this holiday. I know my van is 1.99m without passengers but I'm not risking anything as low as that and concerned with the normal ramps in multi-story carparks. We decided on the car park next to the train and bus station - this one https://www.visitbruges.be/en/plan-your-visit/parking-bruges/centrum-station-car-park
It's 2.15m which still made me nervous and the overhead signs seemed very close but there was plenty of space on the ground floor marked with lights. Here is a picture of our clearance.
As the upper floor has a circular ramp I suspect there would be no concern going up there either but im not sure im keen on going into a normal multi-story with the straight ramps. It cost 7 euro for 24hrs and there is a free electric shuttle bus that stops every 25mins in the road between car park and station or its a 20 min walk to the market square. I will post our experience of Amsterdam parking soon too.
