My insurance is due soon. One significant differentiator seems to be personal possessions cover. How much cover do members think is required. I used to be with Comfort who offer up to £5000 - which I think is one of the most generous. But I got very frustrated with the 48 hour rule so I changed last year. I‘m now put the Cali on my Admiral multi-car policy which is incredibly good value. But it only has £150 possessions cover! I decided to accept that because I have £1,500 personal possessions cover on my household policy which specifically covers unattended motor vehicles.

But is that enough? Has anyone added up the value of possessions which they routinely carry around with them?

I was told by Admiral yesterday that the additional campervan T&Cs give £500 personal items cover on campervans, compared to £100 standard cover on cars.

I was quizzing them on their cover as our renewal is soon and this point came up.

You also have to think about your excess and what making a claim might do for your NCB.
Possesions might be better, as mentioned, on your Home and contents or on a "protect your bubble" type insurance instead.
