protective side moldings

Does anyone please know how much VW body-coloured protective side moldings cost to replace? I'd like a new molding strip for the driver's side door because it got scuffed in a supermarket car park. I've tried touch-up paint but I wasn't happy with the result. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Can't help you on cost but its probably worth getting a price to repair it from your local body shop.
If you buy a new strip you'll need to get it painted anyway

Our dealer recommended the bodyshop they use - so went direct and got a pretty decent price.

I got a quote from another body shop - nearly twice the price and took a month to get a quote back - doh!
