Anyone recommend a good pub with carpark stopover in the lakes. Windermere/Langdale area? Thanks

Not too far away is the Strickland Arms at Great Strickland. Member of Britstops. Nice pub and very good food.

In the Langdales there is a layby near the National Trust Camp site with a pub in walking distance or a bit further out Gilpin Bridge Inn at Levens.

You can stay in the NT car park at stickler ghyll next to sticklebarn pub
Think it’s £10 night but will be busy
You can also stay at Aria force NT car park Ullswater for reference

Any more recommendations?
Heading there Feb for a week.
Not sleeping on the pubs, but visiting.
One of my fav is Tweedies in Grasmere.
Many many different beer, larger and IPA from around the world. And a Sunday roast to die for.
If I were a very wealthy man, I would live permanently around the lakes.

The Wilsons Arms at torver, just outside Coniston is a camp site too i think (seen campervans there before and they have shepherd huts)..lovely food and beer and big field out back for a beer garden...I've only been for food and drink though so not sure what the facilities will be like x

Try Staveley. Speak to the guys at the Eagle and Child pub or at Wilfs in the Woodmill yard.

Searchforsites.co.uk shows pub stops

We have stopped over at the Three Shires in Little Langdale. Great pub.

For the subscription of £28 you'll be able to stay legitimately at any of the 24 Cumbrian Britstops.
