Pull down blinds! Help!

The plastic catch is worn on mine so that after a few bumps the leg becomes loose and starts to rattle, even when engaged properly. Used a small piece of Velcro to hold the leg in place but I removed when on holiday as it was a little too secure and I was concerned the leg was bending too much when trying to pull out! I also attached two small round pads to help stop the parts rattling against each other with limited success! Next...
