Removable towbar

Useful but nothing that is not covered in other YouTube videos on VW Westfailer Transporter detachable towbars. One recommendation that is missing is the advice from Westfailer and PF Jones fitters not to store the towbar primed. I was told to release the locking spring after removal if it was to be stored for a while. To do this take a 50p piece and using the flat side press hard against any one of the protruding locking ball bearings. When refitting remember to prime the spring.

Agreed @Wildcamper but he repeats the issue about towbar component shortages causing even longer delays on California orders. Useful to know for anybody currently specifying a van.
