Replace basic head unit with T6.1 Discover Media Navigation

Hello all.
I feel like I may have made a poor choice when spec'ing my 2022 California Beach with the basic head unit. I have since seen a lot of T6.1 Discover Media Navigation units for sale on eBay by what seem to be German dealerships (possibly as people have swapped out for difference units) Is it worth the swapping (upgrading to the better unit. I think I still want the one with the physical buttons.. also has anyone changed/upgraded and is it possible?

Hi Gary. I’ve had the same thoughts myself so will keep an eye on this thread. However I did change my front speakers for the Alpine T6.1 kit and havn‘t since felt the need to upgrade the head unit. Like all things it depends what you want out of it. Phil.

We deliberately kept the basic unit (in a Coast) as I do everything on it with AndroidAuto...
