Replacement van battery recommendations anyone?

Our van is 6 years old in September and having experienced a flat battery as we were setting off to leave the Boot, Eskdale event (which was great! The event that is Thanks again T4WFA), it looks like time to replace the (original) battery. Just wondered if there was a recommended one to go for? Just looking for good value, not necessarily the cheapest.

Ian did You manage to get yours replaced at a sensible non-VW cost??...

Had a "shield manufacture" battery fitted by my local tyre company, i went for the 120 amp hr. for extra power
it cost me £96

Hi C - I eventually went for the easy/expensive option - got one fitted by our nearby VW main agent. Varta I think.
