Hi All,

We are having an issue with our 2021 Ocean and we’re wondering if anyone has had anything similar?

When in reverse if we turn the wheels to the left to reverse park (which we need to do to get onto our drive) the sensors continuously bleep and the display indicates red on the front drivers side when nothing is there.

It’s been with VW for a week and all they have done is changed 2 sensors which has not cleared the fault.

It’s booked back in for another week in the new year for “further investigations” with VW in Germany.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark.

Not come across that fault on here or the T6 Forum.

Mark, a few pics may help the hive mind to offer some suggestions.

Logically, there is no connection between the two. The only thing that comes to mind could be a wire that is getting squeezed/shorted and so causing the issue. It is not to do with the sensors.

Is it only on your drive? I get this at Mums but it is the sensor at the front picking up the ground that slops a little.

such a pain when the van is in so long without being sorted.
Yep, not sure they did much for the first 2 days!
VW are saying to check wheel alignment, tracking and recalibrate the front radar system when it goes back in early Jan.
Can’t see how that can be an issue but what do I know
At least it’s still under warranty!

I get the same thing when driving off the drive and turning right, up the road. My road is quite a steep hill and my drive has a downward slope too.
