RNS 510 speed camers

If I load a speed camera database onto the 510 does it give a warning flash or sound on approaching a camera or does it just show up as a POI?
If there is no warning sound/flash then it's not a lot of use as you would need to be looking at the satnav all the time.
Also, I get the impression that loading any new POI database onto the 510 will wipe out the existing POIs. Is this correct, if so is there a way of incorporating the the existing with the new?

The 510 shows speed cameras as an icon on the screen in the same way it shows camp sites, VW garages etc.. No warning bleeps. It's waste of time in my humble opinion and switched the facility off.
