Roof Corrosion - Quick Question

I know there is a very lengthy thread on roof corrosion which I have tried to scan through, but I couldn't find what I was looking for (honest).

I wondered whether anybody could help with this simple question - does anything actually get replaced as part of the warranty fix work, or is it simply corrective work to the existing lid?

On mine the front panel above the windscreen was replaced as were the bellows. The main roof panel (that goes up and down) was repainted. Not sure if it is the same for all!

same for mine. Doubt if the whole of the main roof was repainted, probably just the edge where the bubbles were.

I have a small snag in the canvas, despite following the instructions to keep a door open etc when lowering the roof which VW unfairly (in my opinion) refused to put right.

Sounds as if that may be remedied at the same time.
