Roof not opening

Roof not opening on CA 2011 reg after replacing leasure batteries, symbol of roof open comes up. Leasure Batteries on 80% charge. Also three pin socket on kitchen sink area not working, and auxiliary heater. Where do I replace fuse or relay etc. Is it under passenger seat or drop panel on lower dash.thx Lovie

Have you tried resetting the control panel, it may have got confused when you changed the batteries?

Try opening the roof when you Cali is hooked up to the mains electricity and also if the engine is running. Then check your three pin plug is working.

If that fails, look on the thread “
ROOF WON'T OPEN - "IGNITION ON!" From 2016 by Matt Jeffreys

This gives the procedure for resetting the control panel and explanation for any error codes you may find. Best of luck and keep us updated.

Is it OK to run engine with elec hook up and the cu switched. Thx just checking I don't suffer a colossal bill. Thx Lovie

Yes, you will get a warning on the control panel to say you are connected. If in any doubt try opening the roof whilst only using the engine and then with the engine switched off open the roof whilst on hook up.

La Tu dois avoir une erreur 1000 à la console je pense.
LaTon toit s'est rencontré en erreur parce que tu es comme masse au niveau d'un capteur de verin. Il y en a quatre. Tu vas devoir changer le faisceau électrique du toit des capteurs.bon je fais appel a google traduction c'est plus sur

Yes took it to VW specialist and in lock down tech guy is furloughed so I'm no nearer a result. Looked at the 1000 code but couldn't clear it so possibly the sensors are playing up. How can I get roof up, took out the control panel, couldn't see handle, am I looking in wrong place!!?? Thx.

There is a cube fuse on one of the batteries. Might be worth checking . Also have you tried disconnecting them and reconnecting as the problem seems to have started when you changed them?
