Roof weight

Hi, I have 2 kayaks side by side on the roof, total weight 80kg. Will I be able to raise the roof without taking them off, does anyone know ? Thanks

Roof loading is stated as 50kgm. So No to raising it with them on.
As to, whether the unraised roof load is greater than 50kgm, is open to interpretation.
I believe VW used to state that the Static roof load was upto 100kgm (2015) but now they only state 50kgm in all circumstances. I don’t believe anything has changed with the roof over the years.

Thanks, so many contradictory facts! I'm none the wiser, to be honest. I won't raise the roof with the kayaks on... I just now hope that they aren't too heavy for the van with the roof down.
