Rubber cups at rear that hold the springs - cracked

Has anyone had this? My 2023 T6.1 Ocean 4 motion has the fancy adjustable suspension and I was told today after a service/haldex oil change, that the two rear rubber cups (that hold the rear coil springs) have cracked. The good news is that the van is still within the 3 year warrantee so the work will be covered as part of that. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this? 34500 miles if that makes a difference.

Also anyone know what they paid for a new set of front brake pads...

Those vw cups are sh1t. I had broken spring. 2 new ones in. Those cups disintegrated. If the 'tail' of the spring fitted has a slightly different curve on it when made it will do this. Aftermarket springs often chew through those. I fitted eventually 2 t32 springs with 3 grey paint stripes on and heavy duty spring mounts from transporter hq. Problem solved

I'm on original springs, perhaps I'll let them change them, but could good to know that there are other options
