I have sold my GC 680 which has taken us a lot around europe with no issues we have enjoyed our time in all our Calis T6, GC600 and especially the 680.
We are still going to be campervaning just in a different Brand. I still am a member so undoubtedly still follow you all as I have gained a lot of knowledge throughout each van, Ocean, and GC’s. Thanks for all your advise and input.

Thanks and happy safe travels.

Yes I had completely forgotten about that section, thank you.

Unfortunately it’s not in build until August. Delivery mid September

Beast, there’s a few people interested in them so worth doing a post about it in the sold up section.
Lots of hymer owners on here too, plus you bring lots of knowledge to the forum so pop up still:thumb

Thanks for your comments much appreciated. I had x2 trips booked in the Van first end of May for 5 weeks in Germany, so now bought loads of camping gear, so still going but without the comfort. Second one early September to Portugal and Spain so hope there is no delay in shipping it over.
Funnily it has more storage and practical storage space than the 680. However you could be filling that storage because it’s there.

Any it feels like a long wait!

Until next time.

Absolutely lovely. Love the look, more aggressive than the Grand Cali. Went for the pastel pale grey with steel wheels and all season tyres and only RWD. Having the wheels respayed Matt black. Have ordered theTerrawagen bonnet spoiler as they are apparently prone to stone chips along with the American OEM Matt black Mercedes roundle, oh and rear doors. Have you come across any other Forums. What dealership did you purchase from.

Morning Will

I have not managed to find any forums, but need to look again.

Your van looks a great spec.

I bought it from Highbridge, the service has been great and Ollie who I dealt with was superb.

I had been looking to change the Sven for several months and had been looking at a 4x4 MLT or Grand Canyon S. I couldn’t find what I wanted and had been to Highbridge several times. I went in January to look at a nearly new Grand Canyon Crossover that they had just taken in part ex. Was surprised to see they had a 700S, it had just been delivered and was not sold, so deal done, waited to have it on a 25 plate.

Still in the testing and checking phase, around 200 miles on it and 5 nights camping. All good.

If anyone else is thinking of changing to a Hymer shop around. I am surprised some dealers actually manage to sell vans, others are keen to do a deal.

What a beast, Merc seem to have done some cracking colours for sprinter. Looks stunning in that pale brown too.

Well your GC’s was meant to be. I’m really impressed with the quality of finish particularly internally, i.e. the cab it’s less van like. I would be interested knowing how you get on with the highs and lows and if there are any additions, or changes you feel required. Have you managed to use the app yet, if so what can it do.

Hi Will

I have for the Hymer and Mercedes apps set up.

I am using the Hymer app more than I thought. It is easier to control everything on the phone then use individual switches etc Can set heating and lighting from bed (so lazy). I went out tonight and turned the lights on and heating up before I walked back. The app is a bit glitchy when using over the internet, just need to shut and restart app to sort.

The Merc app is useful, as well.

Still getting to know the van.
