Morning all, we are away on holiday in Cornwall, yesterday a speeding van broke our drivers side wingmirror making it difficult to drive the van safely. we seem to have left our paperwork at home and Safeguard insurance are closed today. Can anyone tell me which breakdown company the policy would be with?
Many thanks

Thank you. I have found out that safe guard assist does nor cover anything to do with road accidents. They have said if they send someone out, i will have to agree to the cost going to my insurance or pay for it myself. They cannot tell me how much this would cost me. I have decided not to take this risk and we have managed to get a temporary repair which makes the vehicle legal again.
Useful information from this!
Many thanks for quick reply.

I didn't realise it was illegal to drive without wing mirrors?
It depends on the view from the internal mirror if you legally require an offside mirror. You do require a nearside mirror in an Ocean/SE.
