Santander to Barcelona back home via Bilboa

Hello all, we're off to Spain in a couple of weeks into Santander, across to Barcelona and back home via Bilboa in our Cali 2 adults and 2 young teenagers. We've had our Cali for over 5 years, lots of miles including Chamonix several times for skiing so happy driving in mainland Europe. We'd like to hear from anyone who's made this trip of something similar, maybe via Andorra would be fun?

I did UK, Calais, Le Mans, Bordeaux, zumai, Madrid, Malaga, Sierra Nevadas, Benidorm, back through Seville finishing off at Santander a few months ago. I couldn’t stomache the hike back through France on my own so jumped on a ferry to Portsmouth :embarrased

Hello, we’ve just driven down through the Auvergne and over the Pyrenees to southern Spain. Our return will be north through central Spain to the Bilbao ferry. Family of four (wife and I, teen and preteen). More details in my blog

That's a long way to drive even in a Cali....

Bilbao (pic1: wild camping beside golf course with open back gate, so after hours inside golf course wìth refreshing 'sprinkler'-showers

)-Santander- Punta de Africa (pic2/3: a hidden creek west of San Vicente de la Barquera)-Avilés (historic galleries)-Oviedo (remember Vicky Cristina Barcelona?)-(if you have time: Picos de Europa!)- via Burgos,Lleida and Cervera to-Conca de Barberà wine region: Guimerà (pic4: authentic forgotten mountain village),Forès (pic5),(pic6)-Penedès cava region: Sant Sadurni d'Anoia-Castellet (pic7)-Barcelona,
and then back via Lac du Salagou (pic8)-mountains near Estaing (pic9: bucolic!)-Poissy-to Brussels
