So we have a DSG SE on hire from Active Kampers in Brighton for what will probably be our last hire before we buy, we have decided it would be nice to drive from Brighton to visit my Sister in Edinburgh (I know, the weather etc, but we have hired before in all manner of conditions).
I'm taking my road bike as I'm a sponsored national MTB racer so it would be nice to maybe stop in the Peaks for a blast as I have a few sessions scheduled, but it would be good to do some walking and pub lunches with the missus too.
We are leaving Brighton Thus after work and have the van until Monday evening.
Any thoughts on locations for this out and back adventure?
I was thinking Peaks (First Night), Eds / Scotland (2 nights), Northumberland (1 night) ->home
