Hi All, I have managed to put a nice scratch in the kitchen trim of our Ocean ( the part that has the push handles in it). Has anyone ever replaced this part of the kitchen or know the VW part numbers as I don't think a touch up paint will do it....

I am not sure VW sell these parts separately, i think this trim is part of the full furniture carcass, large elements of this is glued together. You might be better getting a body shop to try and match the paint and ask if they can do a local retouch.

I don't think the paint is an option as the alloy is anodised not painted, as a last resort if I can't get the part it will have to be a sticker. I wonder what it should say ??

Did a repair and re-spray of this trim and made sure to prepare properly and finish off with a couple layers of matt gloss clear coat (1K) and must say it stays pretty good even after 12 months. Used matt gloss silver spray paint. Removed the complete top to make this all a bit easier.

Do you have any paint codes for the Grey ????

If it’s anything like the T6, which I imagine it is, it’s not a part that’s sold separately.

Would need to be painted or wrapped.I got someone to sprays ours and it looked great, just had to manually match the trim in terms of coooir.

Can’t find any separate part numbers for that trim.

The kitchen etc is delivered already assembled for installation. Only Part numbers are for doors, shelves, worktops, fridge and hob. Not trim.

As suggested, paint, sticker or “ Coach Line Tape “.
