Morning everyone.

My Cali will be 3 years old on 1st July 2025 as previous owner to me didn't upgrade to the 5 years so I'm not sure what, if anything VW will offer close to this point especially with the latest 'All In' offers they have going.

We had our 2019 Golf serviced on Friday which at £343 for a major service and MOT I thought was quite reasonable but I did ask about 'All In' as the VW warranty we got with the car 2 years ago expires mid-Dec. The chap said don't do it today as it'll cost you £37/mth but on Monday (yesterday) VW would be doing some good offers and sure enough price had come down to £29/mth for 2 x service, 2 x MOT, 2 years VW Assist and 2 years VW warranty - a saving of around £970 over normal servicing etc and £192 less than previous figure.

In the latest Black Friday deals I see the same 'All In' figures for VW commercial have done the same lowering from £43/mth to £33/mth (£240 less) and supposed saving overall of £1450 so dilemma is although I have roughly 6 months left of VW 3 year warranty do I jump in now or wait????? Currently we only have the VW warranty and VW assist till end of June and next oil service shows not for another 510days/6000 miles. Only issues we've had so far are upper bed hinges and above seat locker hinges all under warranty.

So what's everyones thoughts.................................

I gather you can only have 1 Service/Warranty Plan active at a time.
So you may not be able to purchase the All in One until present warranty expires.
Goto to website and input your Reg Nos. It will say Y/N.

Thanks - yes just did that and no I can't so it's a wait to see what VW offer in July - it seems they do offers 3 times a year so hopefully I catch one then

is there a link to the website please ( Goto to website and input your Reg Nos. It will say Y/N) ? many thanks in advance

The “basic “ service plan for “over 1 year old” doesn’t seem to be as good a deal as it was, no longer includes MOT . At £528 for 2 services including pollen filter there’s not a big saving apart from hedging against price increases.
And looks like they are only discounting the “All in deal” which includes recovery and warranty …… VW won’t let me buy this option because Westfalias are seen as German imports rather than a UK vehicle (Breeze Poole spent days trying to resolve but “computer says “NO”!)

£528 to lock myself in to an out of the way garage for two years on my ‘70 registered Ocean? I think I’m better off staying local.

Thanks for the link WelshGas.

That's the standard Service Plan, different to the All in One that includes 2 yrs Warranty, 2 x MOTs and 2 yrs VW Assistance.

Dealer has said they'll be onto it as soon as my 3 years VW warranty runs out in July and sort something out in case the deals aren't about till August

We have a 19 plate ocean, will we still be eligible for the all in deal in November 2025??
My fear is as it’s a 19 plate that it will be over 6 years old come Nov’25 so probably not. The same situation I’m in when my current one end in March’25 sadly

My (new to me) van was a day out of extended warranty when I signed up for all in one at the current offer, it will take it up to 7 years old, peace of mind and all that. Despite being in warranty for 5 years from new, the all in one said it hadn't been covered and therefore I can't make a warranty claim for 30 days.
Notwithstanding the only current issue is a dicky switch for the light immediately under the hob and sink unit this hopefully won't be an issue. But presumably the cover I bought through vw finance is not seen as the same product the previous owner bought from the dealer?
