Was thinking other day with so many vehicle settings to personalise, this is so time consuming, often involving reading and studying manuals.
This has to be done for the Entertainment system , Dash Board and also main control panel .
So your pleased with yourself , get everything set up to the way you want , ah but wait ,what's worst that can happen , either battery runs flat , or you take in for service / work carried out .
What happens you lose all your settings , all your thought , time spent going through it all is LOST ! !
So was thinking it would be good idea for a system that would save all your settings should battery be disconnected ?
Hey presto iv just found a section in manual called Personalisation, apparently it's done through user account via your Key assigned to the vehicle ?
Only just found this out yesterday , so at present looking into this .
So I presume user account is seperate to We Connect Account ?
Asking if any users are aware of any of the above ? , does it work and is it efficient.
And do you need user account to set up ?
In theory it's excellent idea , as would save all hassle of resetting all settings again.
