This might be a silly question, so thanks in advance for your patience. I can't find the post but I seem to remember reading that the engine should be running when raising or lowering the hydraulic roof.
However, this isn't mentioned in the handbook, and on collection last week the dealer said it wasn't necessary.
So, is it considered good practice to have the engine running when operating the roof, and if so why?
Thanks again.
