Picked up our new Cali yesterday. Filled the tank with water today but when we turn the kitchen tap on the water comes out the shower valve at the back, whether the little black switch is on or off!!! I reckon it must be a faulty valve but haven’t had chance to look properly yet. Anyone else encountered this?
It’s a pain as the only way to use the water is to attach the shower hose as the head has its own trigger which prevents water coming out of that when we use the kitchen tap, but this is obviously not right!

Check if the collar is in the correct position. You push it in to release the shower attachment, I think it should then jump out. Might need a little help.

Similar issue last month, water in the back of the van, wasn't sure where it came from as a sleeping bag soaked most of it. I made the presumption I had a leaky neck on the tank. Had some time yesterday so did a check.

Filled the tank 3/4, parked on a similar slope to the site we were at, turned the tap on, water, in the van straight away. Coming from the shower.

I then checked the shower, the knurled parts on the valve were sitting in the recessed position. Connected the shower, the valve pops out, used it, no problems. Repeated the process, it didn't happen again.

Then put the van on EHU, this is where it gets interesting. Checked it a few hours later and I could hear a low humming noise, about 1/3 of the volume of the pump running. Unhooked it, the noise dropped a bit, but kept running. The pump switch was in the off position but I put pressure on it to the right ,and it stopped? Back on EHU overnight, went out this morning, same noise, even on the EHU the batteries seemed to have taken a tanking. Very weird. Stopped it again by slight pressure on the switch, even though it's in the correct position.

First question, what should the shower valve look like when not in use?

Any ideas on the pump/switching problem? As I said about a 1/3 of the volume of the pump running and the switch is in the correct position.

The vans been booked in since May to get this looked at, also have a soft floor between the two front seats, that can't be right? It feels like it's flexing way too much.

soft floor between the two front seats,

Hi. First time today we have used the shower connection in our ocean as only had a week! and we noticed water under the cupboards in the back! What have I done wrong, and what can I check? Cheers!

You have not done anything wrong, most probably (quite certainly I guess) just a loose pipe. Open the bottom rear cupboard, remove the cover above the water tank to access the rear of the shower. The circlip that attaches the pipe to the shower mechanism will be loose/come off. Tighten that and you will be fine.

Not been on here for a while. Had mine back at the dealer, checked everything and couldn't find the problem.Only used the van and shower twice since, it's not happened again.
