We have it on our current Cali and use it all the time to wash off after the beach, clean the bikes down. Surprised how much we actually use it.Not checked but can confirm we specced on ours and never used it once in 12 months![]()
As far as I recall another poster mentioned a few weeks back that it’s now unavailable in the configurator, yes. Might be a few more examples as they get closer to shutting down the T6.1 run. I’ve been told I may only get 1 sliding window on mine.We have it on our current Cali and use it all the time to wash off after the beach, clean the bikes down. Surprised how much we actually use it.
Is your order an Ocean? I'd be seriously annoyed if mine turns up with only 1 sliding window! As far as I recall another poster mentioned a few weeks back that it’s now unavailable in the configurator, yes. Me too!Is your order an Ocean? I'd be seriously annoyed if mine turns up with only 1 sliding window!
Usually it is yeah, can only assume it’s due to parts availability (similar to the shower).Configurator still shows Ocean has both sliding windows - is it not the beach or surf that only comes with one?
Not heard about this issue before. I ordered my ocean at the end of April through DTD / Crawley….no mention of any changes or restrictions of spec. Should I be worried as I will be hacked off if I don’t get what I ordered. Not sure how I stand legally in this situation.Yeah it’s an Ocean which I ordered at the end of the Happy Camper Sales event. The rep advised that the second sliding window is now only standard on the 204 version and not the 150. He didn’t rule out me getting one but said not to expect it.
Legally; you're entitled to reject your order and get your deposit back in full (but that's it). Reality; you're very unlikely to do that given you've been waiting for your van, so you might be able to negotiate something in lieu, e.g. a free accessory or something, but that really would be a gesture of goodwill and in reality, if you've bought through DTD the dealer is probably able to make more profit by sticking it up for sale themselves a few k more than the DTD price and just say "sorry mate, spec change out of our control - take it or leave it". Not particularly good for the customer of course, but it doesn't mean they can't take that attitude if they wanted to.Not heard about this issue before. Oceans and Coasts have always had an opening window by the kitchen as standard. It’s always been the sliding door one that’s been the optional extra when 2 haven’t been fitted as standard. Not sure which side the single sliding window is but as long as it is kitchen side then I wouldn't worry....
