I had an issue where the window blind that is next to the sliding door kept sticking when pulling it sown so I put some silicone spray on the runners but not I have the issue with the blind creeping up anyone else had this experience and how did you get round it

TIA

We abandoned the use of the sliding door blind as we got fed up with it being in the way if you need to exit the van at night & have gone with an isolite blind fixed to the door.

Do you have details of this product- I put the blinds down when van is on the driveway so people can’t see in

I looked at these when searching for internal insulated blinds, but I can't be doing with suckers and suckers marks on the windows (yep, OCD I guess)
So I went for magnetic fixing blinds from Project Camper. The quality is excellent

I did the same but using butter! (Trace Amounts)
I got roughly the same results but was able to use clean kitchen roll to wipe runners until perfect.

Silicon spray may prove to be a little more tricky. You’ve reduced friction in the system. Fine sandpaper glued onto a lollipop sized stick may allow you to increase friction inside the runners and keep them in place.

I use these, for the same problem on the other side. I suspect in time the problem will diminish.

I find cigarette lighter fuel effective in removing over zealous silicone use.
