Sliding roof hatch repair

Anyone had much luck repairing a hatch that's come apart? One of our mates kids stood on it and it came apart. Looks like some double sided tape should work as it slots back together.......just comes off again every time I slide it shut.

Did you manage to fix it? Same has happened to ours.

I did. I just used some fairly thin double sided tape and it's been good as new ever since.

I will give it a go. Thank you. Now need to work out why it is so stiff to move/stuck.
