Sliding table leg damage to kitchen cupboard sliding doors

I have recently had the leg clip on the sliding table mended under warranty on my California Ocean. It was causing an annoying rattle due to the leg not being held securely in place and also on sliding the table out it would suddenly drop down before I could lower it gently.
I have now realised that the issue has also caused several horizontal scratches on the vertical metal trims on both sliding kitchen cupboard doors - presumably due to the leg not clipping in properly and catching when sliding the table backwards and forwards.
Before I contact the dealer again, does anyone have any experience regarding dealer also replacing the metal trims under warranty? After all the damage has been caused by the faulty table leg.
What are are peoples thoughts on whether the trim should also be replaced under warranty?

The interior fitments are cheap quality , yes it is under warranty iv had numerous plastic clips / catches changed under warranty
