Small dots of yellow liquid while parked

I noticed this yesterday, defintely new as my garage is pretty clean and the floor is painted. There was some yellow liquid, tasted bitter (I should say i dont alwasy taste stuff i find on the floor!), roughly in line with the middle of the van or ever so slightly on drivers side. Not much i mean a 1/4 teaspoon max, cleaned it up and a similar drop was there this am so something is obviously leaking. Anyone got any ideas ? 14 plate 4motion manual, i wondered if it was poss a leaky seal on the diff.

I would suspect the leaky dif seal as this is known fault.

Check viscosity, and colour of your coolant to rule that out.

Might be air con leak... Trying to chase down similar issue on our 4 motion 2011... V small pinhole leak in air con metal pipe, greenish output... Is the drip off the midline?

Have you got Climatronic. I think there is another heat exchanger in the drivers side rear panel so it could be a leak from the pipes leading to this.
If it's the diff leaking.you should be able to see oil around it but it sounds like coolant to me.

I'm not tasing anything leaking out my Cali....i carry a Porta-Potti so i take no risks...

If it was a one time drop of fluide i woud not worry , but best to keep an eye on it for sure.
Open every liquid tank under the hood and taste it....must give you an anwer

you could put water on them and work out wether it's oil based or water based, that will remove a number of variables from your puzzle.

I’d say Air con leak, maybe on the condenser?

I had that on mine a little further back, it was a pin hole in the air con pipe that runs from the front to the back of the van on the drivers side. Got it fixed at a local Air con specialist.
