Hi guys & gals

First night out in our van for the weekend and just happened to come across a problem. I’m wondering if anyone has some tips/hints to help please.

Plugged in to hookup & all ok for a while. Saw picture of a plug on the front visual display unit and all good.

Items operated were:

Fridge
12v fan in side wall plug
240 extension socket with no load (from side next to seat)

We isolated everything last night and got some sleep and trying to find out what went wrong today.

The white fuse unit (just above battery) tripped out and this stopped all use of 240 and from what I can gather the 240 won’t power the fridge now and no plug image on front visual unit but socket is now operating.

There was a strong smell of plastic melting and I can’t find any evidence of this at all.

Where else can I gain access to to look for/fix the problem.

MANY many thanks in advance to anyone who can shed any light on this.

Hi, one of the T4 boys will be along shortly I'm sure but from my limited knowledge of T4 these chargers are prone to frying and replacements around 500 Euro. However, many people are replacing them with a Fraron charger. Use the search function on here for various threads, here's one.
