Spacemate.

I've been meaning to post this for a while. I wanted a spacemate for my Ocean and luckily when I went on the website there was one reduced in price due to a slight blemish ( practically impossible to see).
I contacted Simon and explained that I lived in France but would be visiting the uk in a few weeks, asking if he could hold onto it for me.
On our arrival in the UK at Newhaven we had someone to see before heading to Rochester to collect something else and then onto Deganwy in North Wales. All this had to be done in a day so Simon, once he knew our route suggested that he would come to a service station on the way to meet us and hand over the spacemate. Not only was he there waiting for us he then fitted the tray and refused any extra money for his travel or the fitting. We love the spacemate, it is so useful but I still cannot get over the brilliant customer service displayed by Simon. If you are contemplating a Spacemate I would thouroughly recommend this company.

Great stuff, I love it when people go above and beyond to provide great service, particularly when it's such a great product too.
I bought one last year it's the best thing I've bought for my cali, my dog travels on the rear shelf so having the ability to just slide the tray out and back in makes the boot space so much more usable. It's not a cheap thing to buy and I thought about if for a few weeks before I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did, it's useful, practical and very well made, a quality piece of kit. Simon very kindly upgraded mine and included the rubber mat for me too so I got the metal handle and mat. The latch mechanism with the pull ring in the centre is brilliant and you can operate it easily with one hand and I prefer the raised sides to some of the more flat ones I've seen, I thought the Spacemate was a better design and construction than some of the flat trays with two levers one at each end to operate. If anyone's wondering if they should they get one, my advice would be yes, without a doubt. Before I bought mine I watched a review of it on YouTube ( Campervan Time) and there was a code to get £50 off so was very pleased with that and the upgrade and great service. Buy one, you won't regret it.

Very true, I had a German brand with the two latches and it was a bit painful to use two hands.
So looking forward to the one handed operation.
Hoping Simon chucks in the rubber mat too.
I’ll go to the unit and get it direct from him as he works only 20 minute drive from my house.

I have a second hand spacemate that I bought on here without really thinking it through. Excellent condition, it’s the bigger of 2 sizes for the SE / Ocean. I’ve been meaning to re-advertise for sale but not got round to it. £300 collection from Saltford near Bristol if anyone interested.

Yes, I recently bought the under sink drawers for mine too, when I bought the cali it had a Thetford toilet stored there, I never used it so decided to take it out and use the space for storage, it ended up a mess with everything stacked on top of each other so decided to get the drawer kit, I have a microwave in the other cupboard, again I haven't actually used that yet as I never seem to have electric hook up when I camp so it's great to have the usable storage space. Just got the Gruenthal over head cupboards to help keep the surfaces on top of the fridge and cooker clear when camping.
