Spare part needed for bike rack (slider for wheel attachment)

I managed to snap one of the wheel sliders on my bike rack (T6 - tailgate rack)
Does anyone know where I may be able to get a replacement please? not for sale in club shop.

I have just down the same thing, so was wondering the same thing. They break very easily so would think it might be a common problem

I used this type of repair kit to repair a slit part on a lawn mower and was successful.
Might be worth a try if you can't source the part or as a temp. quick fix.

I think there has been more than one occurrence where
those have failed and the bike has fallen off the rack
whilst hammering it down the M4 in the fast lane in rush hour.

Extra straps would be a good idea.

Not saying that the OP doesn't use extra straps though.

No I don’t use extra straps but that is a good idea as it’s just thin plastic holding them in the groove

That’s a lot of work for a slither of plastic. I’d strap as well, to be safe.

There was a thread a couple of months ago, quite a horror story where
the bike fell of and got mangled a bit, wasn't on the M4, i just added that
for effect
