Standard side opening fly screens

I was reading that the SE came with fly screens for the opening side windows as standard.
I have beach which doesn't come with them but it does have side opening windows.
What are the original ones like and how easy/well do they fit?
I saw Brandrup sell a version too which looks a little over the top compared

I went to my dealer armed with the Cali checklist and insisted on a flyscreen, which was duly removed from a Cali SE, although as you suggest I don't think I should have had one.

It works well, although I fear the fearsome 'jock' midge may be able to sneak through in small numbers, although they may have come in on clothes and the occasional door opening.

I have just found a pair of fly screens under the seat in my Cali SE. These are the VW ones, I have been trying to understand how to fit them. Can you or anyone help.
