Headlight won’t switch off. Anyone changed the steering wheel column switch (indicator stalk) before? Any direction as to part number (some don’t seem to have cruise control) appreciated. 2006 RHD. Thanks in advance

The Headlights are turned on / off via the rotary switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel, on the dash.

Your vehicle will have Day time Running lights (side lights ) , which switch on when the ignition is on.
see image below

the Stalk does not control the lights on , it controls dip / main beam

does that help?

Sorry poor explanation. It is indeed full beam that can not be dipped. The rotary dial does work, the steering column switch doesn’t. Thanks

Air bag off, Steering off, stalk assembly off.

Google is your friend, don’t turn the ignition on with the agitprop bag removed (you will get an error code ) .
if you struggle to find a vid via Google post here and I’ll have a look
