Steering Creaking when parked and steering wheel moved.

My 2021 Grand California 600 has a creaking noise coming from the steering. When stationary with engine running if the steering wheel is moved from left to right and right to left there is a creaking sound. Had it back to VW Van Centre and the steering bushes are worn and apparently there is a TPI out for it. The Van has only done 6000 miles from new. Has anyone come across this issue and knows what the TPI is for??

No I haven’t heard of this happening.
Not sure if GC has electric or hydraulic power steering.
The steering shaft has u-joints on hydraulic power steering which I guess might creak if worn

Just got the GC back from the VW Van Centre and they have replaced worn bushes on the steering rack, my GC has only cover 6000 miles and apparently the TPI is to rectify something hitting the bushes and causing them to wear! Not sure if anyone else has come across this??

Yes all back to normal it does make you think why steering bushes have worn after only 6000 miles!!

Could be a bad batch, not manufactured correctly
