After much deliberation, Clare and I decided to buy a GB Pockit stroller to take away in our Beach.

We have found the ideal place to store it:

With the bench positioned on the rails to make up the standard bed, it stows perfectly between the edge of the bench seat and the side of the van.

Looks like great use of dead space and even better when you consider that most people fill the useable storage space of a car with a pushchair.

I found out when packing for our current Cornwall trip that a Babyzen Yoyo will fit in front of a 65L Really Useful Box in an Ocean. So our boot setup is either 2x65L RUBs under the bench or 1xRUB and our driveaway awning, then the pushchair in front.

We bought the Yoyo as it was the only thing that would fit in the boot of my OHs ex-Beetle Convertible but we were saying the other day that we'd never buy a full size pushchair/stroller now regardless.

Looks the Pockit Stroller and the Yoyo are ideal Cali kids purchases.

Yoyo dimensions folded 52 x 44 x 18cm - 41,000 cu cm
Pockit dimensions folded 35 x 30 x 18cm - 19,000 cu cm

It looks like the Pockit beats the Yoyo hands down for compactness. However, the Pockit doesn't feel very sturdy.

I think that's the trade off. Yoyo does feel sturdy and can also be used from birth with the 0-6month pack, still folding to same dimensions so it's more of a replacement pram and pushchair. That being said if I was new to compact strollers and needed one from 18m+ I'd go for the Pockit.

There always is a compromise to make.

We are also taking a Burley Honey Bee away with us. It coverts from a double bicycle trailer into a very robust double buggy, and will be transported on the bicycle rack.
