Swimming with a dog(s)

Been doing loads of sea swimming recently - on the longer ones (around a mile) I swim alone but on the shorter one (half a mile ish) I take our black lab - she's a seal with ears and swims for ages without any complaints; a real joy and the looks we get as both of us emerge from the open sea is priceless!

Any of you swim with your dogs?

This was the sea today (I did 0.75 miles on my own towards that headland and back- the dog had a good walk so stayed at home)

Well she (the dog) kayaked for the first time today with the wife - good as gold. A bit rubbish with a paddle though

If I had that setting on my doorstep I wouldn't have bought my Cali

We did wonder about keeping it or not but we still have regular trips to Europe in it. It's pretty here but you can't beat a bit of exploration!
